About the Author
For more than forty years, Gordon Greene built a career at the intersection
of business strategy and information technology, where complex systems,
high-stakes decisions, and human dynamics converged daily. Rising
through a series of management roles, he led major system and application
implementations, consistently improving performance and guiding teams
through change. His leadership was grounded in careful planning,
organizational insight, and the ability to remove obstacles before they
became roadblocks, skills honed over a long and rewarding career that
culminated in his retirement from IBM in 2016.
At the heart of his leadership philosophy was the belief that success is
never achieved alone. Gordon fostered motivation through encouragement,
collaboration, and leading by example, inspiring teams to exceed
expectations and share ownership of their accomplishments. That same
respect for teamwork and human resilience now shapes the characters and
conflicts in his fiction.
Storytelling, however, has been a constant presence in his life. From
eagerly tackling writing assignments in grade school to a teenage attempt
at a first novel, briefly derailed by the irresistible pull of summer adventure,
he was always drawn to creating worlds and exploring what-ifs. In his early
twenties, he began writing a fiction novel centered on the USSR’s dramatic
abduction of a U.S. Space Shuttle crew. Though life’s responsibilities
temporarily set the manuscript aside, the urge to tell stories never faded.
That lifelong passion finally came to fruition with his debut novel,
Dominance Unleashed: Unmasking the Monolithic King, a thriller born of
years of observation, reflection, and an intimate understanding of power,
systems, and ambition in the modern world. He followed it with Echoes of
Duty: In Search of Innocence, a tense, emotionally driven adventure, and,
most recently, Quest, a high-stakes techno-thriller steeped in intrigue,
cutting-edge technology, and pulse-pounding suspense. Set against the
backdrop of the AI age, Quest explores the razor-thin line between
innovation and destruction, and between loyalty and betrayal.
Gordon invites readers to step into these worlds and hopes they find the
same excitement, tension, and meaning in reading his novels as he found
in bringing them to life.
